Wednesday, April 21st
Came 0.5 miles downstream of Pine Swamp Road along Laurel Run; worked my way to the creek and worked my way back upstream.... Didn't notice a lot of great fishing spots; had a few places of limited access, decent cover, but very few bites; I had very little patience. One small brook trout (less than 3"); no real fishing opportunity where the Shingletown Creek comes in.

Sunday, April 17th - Whipple Lake
Started fishing after Black Mo experiment; started maybe 4:30pm on the Northeastern shore and didn't have much success; after an hour or so went to the parking-lot-on-the-hill on the west shore and hiked down into the steep banks on the northwest shores; nearly caught a small-mouth and tiger muskee, getting both to within feet of me; water was very shallow at lake's edge and full of lilly pads, trees, and other items difficult to retrieve through.
Note: faster retrieves were better than slower; shoreline had many lizards; re-fish this spot but look for deeper shoreline water.

Sunday, April 17th - Black Mo
Fished the early afternoon at Black Moshannon, starting near the Shirks Run end of the lake and working my way back the eastern shore towards the boat docking area. Two hours, no bites, went to the opposite side near the last boat docking area on the roadway and fished another two hours, still no bites...
Weather was overcast, no other fishermen there, spotty rain; left about 4pm

Monday, April 19th
Clear skies, warmer temps, went 3.5+ miles upstream of Whipple Dam to intersection of Laurel Run Road and Pine Swamp Road; found a nice fishing hole 20' downstream of bridge and caught two brook trout (8" and 12").
